As part of the proposed Lagos Film City project, the Governor of Lagos went to Trilith Studios, an American film and television
production facility south of Atlanta in Fayette County, Georgia, where he met the studio's creator, Mr. Daniel Truett Carthy.
The Governor and his team were shown around the 700-acre site studio, which has 24 sound stages and 400 acres of backlog.
According to the governor,
There is no better place to start aconversation than from here because for us, coming here is really about telling the Lagos story in America. What we are about is really to just test the water, be able to communicate and let the Diaspora audience know that they have a government and their people can also be there.
