The Governor of Lagos swore in 11 new permanent secretaries to the Lagos State civil service today as part of the efforts to increase efficiency and realign the governance wheel for better service delivery.
In addition, he established a five-person Standing Tribunal of Enquiry on Chieftaincy Matters, which would be presided over by retired Justice O. A. Dabiri.
The selection of the permanent secretaries was made from a pool of qualified public officers who underwent an interview process based on their performance and track records in their particular fields of responsibility across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MAs).
The Governor of Lagos congratulated this group of public servants for their various efforts in their MAs and the State, which have earned them this chance.
