
In line with Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda of deepening democratic dividends, boosting food production and bringing development to rural communities in Lagos State, a total of 500 rural dwellers have been trained by the Center for Rural Development (CERUD), under the State Ministry of Local Government and Community Matters, in modern fishing methods comprising 250
participants from the rural divisions of Epe and Badagry.
After the training, 100 beneficiaries with 50 participants each from the two rural divisions were presented with empowerment materials to enable them to take off smoothly. Mr. Stephen Adeniji, the Director and Chief Executive Officer of CERUD, who disclosed this while presenting the farming tools to the beneficiaries at the premises of the State Agricultural Development Authority, Oko-Oba, Agee, enjoined the beneficiaries to make good use of the opportunity.
