Building Bridges: Lagos Strengthens U.S.–Nigeria Cooperation for Food Security, Trade, and Diaspora Engagement

Lagos State continues to strengthen strategic partnerships that promote economic growth, food security, and sustainable development for its residents and the wider Nigerian diaspora. Recently, His Excellency, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, received Ambassador Terence P. McCulley, Chairman of the U.S.–Nigeria Council for Food Security, Trade, and Investment, on a courtesy visit at Lagos House, Marina. Discussions focused on practical areas of collaboration, particularly in food security and trade—sectors critical to economic stability, job creation, and improved livelihoods.
