After many weeks of orientation programs, the Lagos State Government's Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has accepted 210 kids from Education District V into the Queens and Kings Clubs.
The Executive Secretary of DSVA, Mrs. Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, addressed the induction, stating that there is a need to raise awareness at all levels of society in order to combat
the threat of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) prevalence in the state and the need to hold offenders accountable using the referral pathway established by the State Government.
According to Vivour-Adeniyi, the program aims to develop a lasting social framework in
educational institutions that would aid in dispelling sociocultural myths and promoting
empowered femininity to alter the behaviors and attitudes of young girls in Lagos State.
