Musical Society of Nigeria is referred to as MUSON.

In order to promote the love of classical music among Nigerians, MUSON was founded in 1983 by a group of distinguished Nigerians and expats, including Mr. Akintola Williams, Chief Ayo Rosiji, Chief Rasheed Gbadamosi, Mr. Louis Mbanefo, and Mrs. Francesca Emanuel. The Muson Center is a multipurpose civic theater that hosts concerts, stage plays, award shows, and other events.
