
The Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu attended the Service of Commemoration in Honour of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth I at The British Residence, Ikoyi, where he signed the condolence register.
According to him,
Queen Elizabeth lived a remarkable life of service and devotion to duty from her first day on the throne till the very last hour. For her, service and duty to the people of United Kingdom and the entire commonwealth of nations was a sacred duty and she did it faithfully to the very end.
On behalf of the good people of Lagos, we pray for theRoyal Family and it is our desire that the reign of King Charles Ill will strengthen stronger relationships and partnerships between UK and Nigeria and the world."
