The Lagos State Government has said the delivery of quality and professional auditing services can only be achieved by raising the bar and building the knowledge base and competency level of auditors such that they perform their duties in a professional manner that impacts good governance while strengthening public trust.
This statement was made by the Auditor-General/Permanent Secretary for Local Governments, Obafemi Musa Ogunlana in his address at the opening ceremony of the 8th Edition of the annual Auditors Retreat held recently at Radisson Blu Hotel Ikeja.
