The Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila was on a courtesy visit to the newly enthroned Oniru Oba Abdul-Wasiu Omogbolahan Lawal (Abisogun Il), this afternoon at the Oniru Palace.
On hand to receive the Rt. Hon Speaker and his high power colleagues from the National Assembly is the Special Adviser to Hon. Gbajabiamila on Southwest Politics, Hon. Ayodeji Adebayo Joseph.
The highly elated Speaker was full of praises for the king whom he described as blessing to the people of Iruland, Lagos and Nigeria as a country.
Speaking moment after the short speech by the Speaker, Oba Abdul-Wasiu Omogbolahan Lawal appreciated Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Hon. Jimi Benson and Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye for the courtesy call. He described the trio as worthy Patriots that he is proud to reckon with.
The Oba prayed for God's protection, guidance and wisdom for the Speaker as he steers the ship of the Green Chamber to an unprecedented height.
