ChildrensDay: Gov. Sanwo-Olu To Launch Read Aloud Lagos

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has said that he will launch Read Aloud Lagos to celebrate the children's day Wednesday, May 27.

Gov. Sanwo-Olu who made this known via his official twitter handle described Children as the hope for a brighter future who must be empowered with the right values, skills and opportunities to achieve their dreams.

He said: "Today to celebrate ChildrensDay, I will be launching Read Aloud Lagos and every child can join online at www.readaloudlagos.com at noon."

"This year, COVID19 has changed the lives of our children. Many of them do not understand why they have to stay at home and not see their friends. As we celebrate ChildrensDay, let us pay special attention to their mental health, physical capacity and their important needs."
