Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reiterated the importance of education in shaping the future of society, emphasising the need for innovative teaching and learning approaches.

The governor made this known today during a courtesy visit by members of the Board of Trustees and the Chief Executive Officer of Teach For All Global Network, Wendy Kopp, at Lagos House, Ikeja.

“Education is the foundation upon which the future of any society is built. Our discussions today focused on the critical role education plays and how innovative teaching approaches can address challenges in access and quality.”

Teach For All is a global network that supports locally rooted organisations in expanding educational opportunities and improving access and quality in the education sector.

Sanwo-Olu underscored the importance of educational partnerships, adding that collaborative efforts are vital to achieving long-term educational goals.

“Our government remains committed to working with global leaders in education to ensure every child in Lagos has access to quality learning opportunities,” he remarked.
