Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reiterated the importance of education in shaping the future of society, emphasising the need for innovative teaching and learning approaches.
The governor made this known today during a courtesy visit by members of the Board of Trustees and the Chief Executive Officer of Teach For All Global Network, Wendy Kopp, at Lagos House, Ikeja.
“Education is the foundation upon which the future of any society is built. Our discussions today focused on the critical role education plays and how innovative teaching approaches can address challenges in access and quality.”
Teach For All is a global network that supports locally rooted organisations in expanding educational opportunities and improving access and quality in the education sector.

“Our vision for Lagos is one where no child is left behind. This partnership with Teach For All aligns with that vision, ensuring that we can deliver not just education but transformative learning experiences for our children.”
The CEO of the network, Wendy Kopp, highlighted the potential impact of such collaborations, saying: “Lagos is uniquely positioned to lead innovative educational reforms in Africa. We are excited about the opportunities to work together to create a model for others to follow.”
