Lagos Diaspora Destination: The Cathedral Church of Christ

One of the most important historical sites in Lagos, Nigeria, is the Cathedral Church of Christ. Built in Norman Gothic style and founded in 1869, the church is the oldest Anglican Cathedral and is situated in Marina.

The cathedral has housed the archbishop and primate of All Nigeria as well as the archbishop of the Province of West Africa at various points in time. Currently, it serves as the Bishop of Lagos's residence.
