Point of No return also known as Gberefu Island is a populated historical island located in Badagry. During the colonial slave trade, the Point of No Return was the location where slaves were shipped to an unknown destination.

Once it opened in 1473 during the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, the island became an important slave harbor.
