Lagos Diaspora Destination- Lagos Central Mosque

Lagos Central Mosque is a building that leaves visitors in awe. The architectural design is one that spurs marvel, as the mosque is designed with two small and two tall minarets, with the smaller ones on top of the entrance and the taller ones flanking the west and east wings of the building.

In the main central dome, there are excellent carvings of Islamic importance. The new building entrance also leads to Riwaq emphasized by decorated columns,

The Mosque comprises a prayer hall, office block, reference library, and an apartment for the Chief Imam. The Lagos Central Mosque which was opened in May 28, 1988, is a commanding structure utilized by most Muslim.
